We’ve now held our third Saturday morning Messy Church in Withington, this time celebrating St Patrick’s Day. We enjoyed plenty of crafts featuring snakes, shields, shamrocks, and St Patrick himself.
Our worship time gave us a chance to think about Jesus being with us wherever we go and offering us his protection, singing “Christ be before me” – based on “St Patrick’s Breastplate”. Our action prayers meant using our whole bodies to pray as well as our words.
We finished off with a tasty meal of Fish Finger butties!
Our Saturday morning gatherings are a little smaller but this means we can enjoy the cosy setting of the Lady Chapel at St Paul’s.
