6.15 Community

Based at St James and Emmanuel, Didsbury, the 6.15 Community seeks to offer more than a Sunday evening service.  We are bound by a common life of prayer, service and mission.  Each second Tuesday of the month we hold an evening of listening, exploring and discussion.  It’s open to everyone at St James and Emmanuel, the Deanery of Withington and beyond.  The admission price is free, all we ask is that you consider bringing a drink (alcoholic or soft) or a cake to share.

Our first event is on Tuesday 11th September when Revd Canon Phil Rawlings will be speaking on Muslim/Christian relations.

Our second event is on Tuesday 9th October when Robert Cohen will give a talk entitled ‘A Jewish Journey to Palestinian Solidarity’.  There will be time for questions at the end of the evening.

We meet in Emmanuel’s Home Community Cafe and doors open at 7.15 pm for 7.30 pm.
